muscles shaking, sweaty…and thinking…she’s killing me lol.

So, I decided since I cant lift weights with my knee being the way it is, I’ll just pop in my pilates dvd. I forgot how hard this is for me. I am serious. I have heard people say, oh its easy. Easy my ass. This works me harder then just about anything else I do for some reason. I am sitting here after doing 2 sections…10 minute lower body and then a 10 minute flexiblity workout. My muscles were just shaking. Of course, there is some of it I cant do…I either skip it or modify it for me. One of these days, maybe i’ll have the muscles I’ll need to do this without feeling like she’s killing me lol. I would like to get where I can do all 50 minutes in one monster workout.

You will..just take one day at a time. Look how far you’ve come already. :) You arent letting your knee problems get you down..You are finding ways to work out no matter what!!!!

I know what you mean! I heard it was easy too & EVERYONE was doing it..so I bought a Denis Austin DVD & it was sooooo hard! Every once in a while when I’m in a patient mood I’ll try it. But you’re right -it’s really hard!

My Pilates abs workout leaves me sore as hell! It’s a great feeling. Pilates has this odd way of feeling like you’re not really doing much, then hurting later!

I thought that Pilates were going to be a push over until I actually did them with my trainer. Wow, was I wrong. Actually they are very challenging and very specific in the areas they work. They are definately a valuable part of your routine. Probably easier and gentler than freeweights but not easy thats for sure.

It is hard. Modify when you have to, you will get stronger in time.
